The automotive industry in Turkey, one of the leading countries in automobile production, exported 3.2 billion dollars in November.
Baran Çelik, OIB Chairman of the Board of Directors, said, "Our automotive industry has achieved the highest November exports to date. This figure is also the second highest figure reached on a monthly basis in history, after 3.3 billion dollars in March 2023."
The export rate increased by 10.4 percent compared to the same period last year. The value of this rate in dollars was announced as 3 billion 172 million 87 thousand dollars. The countries with the most exports were Germany, the United Kingdom and France, respectively.
Making a statement on the subject, Çelik said, "Our automotive industry has achieved the highest November exports to date. This figure was also the second highest figure reached on a monthly basis in history, after 3.3 billion dollars in March 2023. In November, passenger cars, motor vehicles for transporting goods, Exports of vehicles and buses, minibuses and midibuses increased in double digits. In the January-November period, our 11-month exports increased by 14 percent, reaching 31 billion 831 million dollars. We will do our best in December and close 2023 as the leading sector again." said.
