Audi is changing its logo: It will not be used on models in China

It has been claimed that Audi will not use the brand's four-ring logo in its new electric car family developed for the Chinese market.

It has been claimed that the new electric car series developed in China by German car manufacturer Audi for the Chinese market will not carry the brand's four-ring logo.

Company sources say that the 'image evaluation' is behind this decision of the brand owned by Volkswagen.

According to the allegations, the German manufacturer is making plans to open a new page by changing its logo in China.

It is also stated that this decision by Audi reflects the use of the automotive architecture developed together with SAIC in China and the increasing dependence on local suppliers and technologies.

Within the scope of this plan, referred to as 'purple' within the company, it is still unclear whether Audi's cars in China will have a new logo or just the brand's name.

A concept car for the new series is expected to be introduced in November and Audi is also expected to reveal the 'brand story' of this series.

Sources note that nine models are planned by 2030, emphasizing that the cars will remain 'Audi' even if the logo changes.
