BYD's sub-brand Fang Cheng Bao has signed an agreement with technology giant Huawei to use its driver assistance system.
Fang Cheng Bao, a sub-brand of Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD, has signed a strategic partnership with Huawei, one of the giants of the technology world.
This exciting agreement is considered an important step in integrating the latest developments in autonomous driving technologies into the automotive sector.
Huawei's advanced driver assistance systems will be integrated into Fang Cheng Bao vehicles to provide a safer and smarter driving experience.
Within the scope of the agreement made in Shenzhen, Fang Cheng Bao and Huawei announced that they will conduct in-depth joint R&D studies in the field of intelligent driving.
Fang Cheng Bao's first model to use Huawei's intelligent driving system will be the Bao 8 off-road SUV, which will be released soon.
This model will be equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 3.0 system, which was introduced by Huawei in April.
The system in question includes advanced intelligent driving features such as urban autonomous driving (Navigate on Autopilot).
On the other hand, BYD aims to increase sales of its premium brands Denza, Fang Cheng Bao and Yangwang to increase its profitability.
These three brands currently account for 5 percent of BYD’s lame sales.
