Volvo broke its own record with sales figures.
Volvo, which is one of the first brands that come to mind when it comes to solid cars in the world, has managed to become one of the best-selling brands in the world with its electric cars. Volvo managed to break its own record by selling a total of 708 thousand 176 cars all over the world.
Volvo, which sold 113 thousand 419 fully electric cars, an increase of 70 percent compared to the previous year, also increased its plug-in hybrid car sales by 100 percent. Accordingly, 16 percent of the cars sold by Volvo are fully electric cars.
The best-selling Volvo models are the XC60, which became the best-selling model of Volvo Cars with 228 thousand 646 units in 2023.
In 2023, Volvo Car broke its own record by reaching the highest sales figure in Turkey and sold 11 thousand 646 vehicles.
The company sold 1,518 vehicles in December 2023, an increase of 47 percent compared to the same period last year.
The XC40 model, which is in the compact class of Volvo Cars' premium market, became the most preferred Volvo model in Turkey with sales of 3 thousand 127 units in 2023. This model was followed by the XC90 with sales of 2,920 units.
