As part of the research conducted in the USA, market research organization Consumer Reports analyzed the brands that consumers trust the most when purchasing second-hand cars.
These results are considered an unexpected blow for Tesla, the pioneer of electric vehicles.
Within the scope of the research covering cars manufactured between 2014 and 2019, consumers who purchased second-hand cars of the model years in question were asked about their opinions.
Consumer Reports asked consumers who met the conditions to describe the problems they experienced.
According to the research, Japanese automotive manufacturers are the most preferred and trusted brands in second-hand cars.
Brands such as Lexus, Toyota, Mazda, Acura and Honda have managed to gain the trust of consumers with their long-lasting and durable vehicles.
