Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai is opening a new electric car factory in Ulsan, the heart of Korea.
It was announced that Hyundai's legacy continues in this facility where fully electric cars will be produced. It is known that the new facility will also become the center of Hyundai's electric mobility production.
R&D services will be provided in many areas in the new facility, which will be a reflection of the knowledge and technological development in the automotive field. The silence of electricity will now prevail in the Ulsan factory, which was opened in 1968 for assembly purposes only.
It will be built on an area of 548 thousand square meters in the Ulsan factory, which will have an annual production capacity of 200 thousand units. The facility, where an investment of 1.53 billion dollars will be made, will start production in the first quarter of 2026.
