Faced with a major recall plan, Ford is urgently calling its users to the nearest Ford service.
Ford is on the agenda with the spare parts problem in the popular SUV model Explorer. Stating that the parts are likely to break off while moving and create a traffic hazard, Ford decided to recall approximately 2 million models.
While Tesla had previously come to the fore with such major recall news, it was a great shock that another American automobile giant had come to the fore.
It is recalling approximately 1.9 million Explorer SUV models in the United States. The recall covers Explorers produced between the 2011 and 2019 model years.
Documents published by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration say that the clips holding the headliner near the windshield can become loose and fly off, creating a traffic hazard.
Dealers will inspect the parts to make sure the clips fit. The company will inform vehicle owners starting from March 13.
