Chery Omoda 5, which has been in existence for a long time with its internal combustion engine, is now on the roads completely electric.
Chery Omoda 5 EV, which was first introduced at the 2023 Shanghai Automobile Fair, will be a direct competitor with BYD Atto 3 and MG ZS EV, which are Chinese brands. Chery Omoda 5, which has an internal combustion engine in design, did not change its design in its fully electric version. It doesn't seem like it needs to change much anyway.
Producing 150 kW power and 340 Nm torque with its 61 kWh battery, the New Chery Omoda 5 EV has a driving range of 450 km. Omoda 5 EV, which manages to go from 0 to 100 in 7.8 seconds, goes from 30 to 80 percent with a 35-minute charge.
It is not yet known how many thousand dollars the price will be. However, it is estimated that it will not be sold for less than the internal combustion version. We will learn more about the details very soon.
