Subaru and Toyota will produce 3 new electric SUVs by 2026

Subaru and Toyota plan to produce 3 new electric SUV models. The cars in question will be on the roads until 2026.

Subaru's electric vehicle efforts will expand significantly with help from long-time partner Toyota.

The Japanese manufacturer, which is only on the market with the Solterra model, will add new models to its product range with the help of Toyota.

Subaru plans to launch three new electric SUV models developed together with Toyota by 2026.

So far, Subaru has not invested much in the electric vehicle market and has not converted its facilities for production.

It is very costly for the company to produce electric vehicles alone. However, the company wants to reduce costs considerably by getting help from Toyota.

At least one of the planned Subaru SUV models will be produced in the United States by Toyota. However, Subaru will launch four self-developed electric vehicles by 2028.

Subaru's only electric vehicle today is the Solterra, which is a close sibling to the Toyota bZ4X.
