Xiaomi introduced its highly anticipated electric car at an event held at the end of last year.
The Coupe electric car came out with three different versions: SU7, SU7 Pro and SU7 Max.
The intense demand for its first electric car has motivated Xiaomi. The company recently exhibited a new supercar called Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
The company is also working on a new car with an SUV body type.
Xiaomi CFO Alain Lam stated that the automobile business, which is only in its fifth month, needs a little more time to stop losing and turn into profit. Lam emphasized that they are currently focusing on growth rather than profitability.
However, Xiaomi, which aims to reach the same level as Tesla and BYD, the world's two largest electric car companies, and compete with them, thinks that this goal will be achieved in 10 or 20 years.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has pledged to invest $10 billion in car manufacturing to replicate its success in smartphones.
