Lexus Increased Sales by 48 Percent in the First Quarter

Premium automobile manufacturer Lexus managed to increase its sales by 48 percent in the January-March period compared to the same period last year.

Lexus sold more than 19 thousand vehicles in the January-March period. Lexus' sales increased by 48 percent compared to the same period last year.

However, the sales rate of full hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles represented almost all of the brand's total sales in Western Europe.

In the first three months, sales of the SUV model NX increased by 47 percent, while sales of the RX increased by 29 percent. RZ, one of the brand's fully electric models, also attracted attention with its increasing sales.

In the January-March period, the most preferred Lexus models in Europe were NX with 7 thousand 186 units and RX with 3 thousand 684 units.

Continuing to grow globally, Lexus continues to achieve significant success in the European market.
