Tesla Model 3 Failed to Pass Safety Standards in Australia

Tesla Model 3 Failed to Pass Safety Standards in Australia

There was a big shock in the automobile world. Tesla Model 3 has been officially banned from sale in Australia.

American electric car manufacturer Tesla's recently renewed car, Model 3, was among the cars whose sales were stopped in Australia on the grounds that it did not meet safety standards.

Model 3, which has been in need of a radical make-up and renewal for a long time, has been renewed very recently. Tesla Model 3, which went on sale in the world market towards the last days of 2023, was on the agenda again with a bombshell news.

Sales and shipments were suspended due to the lack of child seat mounting brackets on the rear seats, which are mandatory in Australia.

In the statement made by Tesla, we regret to inform you that deliveries of Model 3 in Australia will be stopped as of the end of business on January 17, 2024.

We are working closely with the relevant authorities to resolve this pause. These changes will cause delays in deliveries. We hope to restart deliveries next week.
