Extended Range, a model with a longer range, of the fully electric MG4, which has attracted great interest since its release, was introduced.
While the interest and demand for electric cars in Europe and the world is increasing day by day, technology in electric cars is also developing. So much so that while the charging times are shortened, the maximum range that can be reached with a fully charged battery is also extended.
The MG4, which has recently made a name for itself with its design and technology, has increased its range with the Extended Range model. The battery volume in the Long Range version, which is currently on sale, was 64kWh and a driving range of 435 km was offered.
In the Extended Range version, the battery volume increases to 77 kWh, while the range exceeds 520 km. This paves the way for it to be the first MG model over 500 km range. Offering 150 kW DC fast charging support, the MG4 can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in 39 minutes.
Of course, this range created a disadvantage in terms of weight. In the Extended Range model, which is 63 kg heavier, it will almost feel like a person is riding more.
