Audi and Porsche, premium brands under the VAG Group, are recalling seven thousand vehicles due to problems with electric cars.
A new one has been added to the recall news that comes with problems from time to time. The recall news, which had previously appeared on Tesla models, this time came from Europe's largest automotive world, Audi and Porsche.
The recall program was initiated after the discovery of a dangerous defect that could cause the batteries of the fully electric models Audi e-tron GT and Porsche Taycan to catch fire.
Due to the battery failure that occurs in cars produced in the 2022 model and later, the newly used pastes are of no use in the models on sale in Europe. This being the case, 4777 Taycans were recalled.
Audi recalled 1899 e-tron GT and RS models. Recalled models will be examined to see if there is any liquid contact in the battery packs. Batteries with liquid leakage will be replaced free of charge.
