Germany has given driving permission for Ford's models with Level 2+ driving function, which continues its semi-autonomous driving studies.
After electric cars come into our lives day by day, semi-autonomous driving technologies continue to develop. Thanks to these systems supported by artificial intelligence, it is possible to travel in the car without the need for a driver.
Ford has been asking for permission from the German government for a long time with its semi-autonomous driving service called Level 2+. With the permission of the German Federal Motor Vehicles and Transport Authority, Ford's Blue Cruise technology can now be used.
Ford's all-electric SUV model Mustang Mach-E was the first model to use this technology. With the Blue Cruise technologies currently used in the USA and Canada, a total of 175 million km has been covered.
