German automotive giant VW will stop production of two models due to low demand. The models surprised those who heard them.
Volkswagen announced that it will stop automobile production in its Zwickau and Dresden factories. The discontinuation decision means the end of both models of the brand. It was announced that the production of ID.3 and Cupra's smallest car model, Born, produced in factories, will also stop.
In addition, there are rumors that the factory in Dresden will close completely. The number of cars produced at the Zwickau factory between October 2-13 will be reduced primarily. Automobile production will be stopped completely at the factory in Dresden between 2-16 October.
The fate of the workers working in the factory is still uncertain. If these two factories are closed, savings of up to 20 million Euros can be achieved.
