After electric cars, hydrogen fueled cars, now a solar powered car has been produced.
A team of students studying at the Eindhoven University of Technology succeeded in producing a car that runs entirely on solar energy. The students, who named this car Stella Terra, tested the vehicle in difficult off-road conditions.
The range of this new model, whose maximum speed is 140 km/h, varies depending on whether it sees the sun. On sunny days, it promises a range of up to 630 kilometers. Stella Tera, which will carry out its first long-range tests at the end of this month, aims to travel 1000 km through Morocco. The test will end in the Sahara Desert.
