Renault 5 Received 50 Thousand Orders in the First Week

The all-electric Renault 5 has managed to collect 50 thousand pre-orders worldwide, even though only a few days have passed since its introduction at the Geneva Motor Show.

French automobile manufacturer Renault continues to add new models to its electric product range.

The company introduced its 100 percent electric model Renault 5 E-Tech at the 91st Geneva International Motor Show held on February 26-March 3.

The brand plans to put the Renault 5 E-Tech 100 percent electric vehicle on sale in Turkey in the first quarter of 2025.

Renault announced that the new Renault 5 E-Tech electric hatchback model, which it recently introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, has already reached 50 thousand orders.

The price of the new compact electric car, which will officially go on sale in Europe in May, starts from 25 thousand euros.

Renault 5 E-Tech, a short model measuring 3.92 meters, stands out with its attractive body proportions and the same size as an agile city car.

Renault 5 E-Tech, whose wheelbase is only 4 cm shorter than the Clio model, promises a generous interior volume.

Renault 5 E-Tech was designed as a model suitable for urban and outdoor use. Its battery of up to 52 kWh provides a WLTP range of up to 400 kilometers.

The model, which has 11 kW AC charging and up to 100 kW DC charging power, has a trailer towing capacity of up to 500 kilos, a rare feature in the electric city car segment.

Equipped with the most advanced safety features, Renault 5 E-Tech includes advanced driving support systems (ADAS) transferred from upper segments, including smart adaptive cruise control that reads the road and 2nd level autonomous driving technology 'Active Driver Assistant'.
