In Germany, activists tried to enter Tesla's factory on the grounds that it harmed the environment. Here are the details.
Tesla, one of the world's most popular electric car manufacturers, is experiencing production problems at the factory in Berlin where Model Y is produced.
In recent weeks, about 80 activists from the "Stop Tesla" initiative had protested the expansion plan that would destroy the forest area near the Tesla factory.
Activists, who argued that the forest area next to the factory was occupied by Tesla, supported the residents of the Grünheide region against Tesla's factory expansion plan and asked for the protection of drinking water areas in the region.
In fact, a few weeks ago, activists damaged the transformers near the factory and cut off the factory's electricity.
Now they tried to enter the factory by force
Activists in Germany tried to enter Tesla's factory on the grounds that it harmed the environment.
According to the information provided by the police spokesman, although the activists managed to overcome the first fences, they have not been able to enter the factory so far. Police reported that a female protester and three police officers were injured.
Authorities tried to prevent protesters from entering by widely blockading the area where the only Tesla factory in Europe is located.
In this context, some highway exits leading to the factory were also closed.
