After the production of the sedan Passat was discontinued, the Superb, which continued on its way, was introduced.
Although Skoda Superb and VW Passat, which are within the VAG group, use the same platform, they have completely created their user profiles thanks to their unique fan bases. The recent discontinuation of the production of the sedan version of Passat caused a gap in the D Sedan segment.
The Superb, which Skoda renewed and put on the roads right after, will fill the place of the sedan segment, even though it has its share of the brand's description as a hatchback.
Continuing with gasoline and diesel engines in its fourth generation, Superb does not yet have plug-in hybrid engine options.
