Alfa Romeo will now have to place the front license plate in the middle on all future models to comply with European Union rules.
One of the first details that comes to mind when Alfa Romeo is mentioned is the front plate to the left of the grille.
The left plates, which disappeared when Giulietta's production was stopped in 2020, came back with the production of the Junior model.
However, the company now has to place the plate in the middle on all its models. Because the European Union's General Safety Regulations (GSR) make this change mandatory.
According to the General Security Regulations of the European Union; Placing the license plate in the middle reduces the risk of injury in possible accidents.
It is currently unknown whether this decision will affect the design of Alfa Romeo models sold outside the 27 EU countries.
