It has officially introduced for the European market its automatic feature for overtaking, which requires drivers to be perhaps the most professional.
As technology develops a little more every day, the reflections of this can be seen in the automotive industry. With semi-autonomous and fully autonomous, drivers can travel without the need to press the accelerator or brake. Adding lane change to this, traveling became much easier.
Added to this is the automatic lane change feature now. Mercedes-Benz, the inventor of the first automobile, introduced its automatic overtaking feature in the New E Series. This feature, which is currently used in the C Series, E Series, S Series and EQ Series in North American countries, is now about to hit the roads of Europe.
Active Steering Assist and Distronic Active Distance Assist work together with this technology, called Automatic Lane Change System (ALC). The system can be used between 80 and 144 km/h speeds.
