Explaining its 2027 plans for its work in Turkey, OYAK Renault announced that it will invest a total of 400 million euros for 2 additional models, Mitsubishi Colt and Renault Duster, that will be produced in Bursa.
French automobile manufacturer Renault continues its work on Turkey with a strong cooperation.
Speaking about the investment worth 400 million euros, Renault CEO Cambolive said, "Renault has been operating in Turkey with its partner OYAK for 54 years. Since 1952, OYAK and Renault have invested more than 2.5 billion euros together, produced more than 7.5 million automobiles, and one in every 7 automobiles in Turkey carries the Renault logo.
Our goal is to become the market leader in Turkey, strengthen our brand with new products, develop a strong presence especially in the SUV segment, and implement an electrification strategy based on hybrid and electric vehicles. "We will make our Bursa factory the export center of not only Europe but also other countries of the world," he said.
