Elon Musk Goes to Germany for His Factory That Was Set on Fire

Tesla CEO Elon Musk will visit the company's factory in Germany after the arson.

Tesla, one of the world's most popular electric car manufacturers, is experiencing production problems at the factory in Berlin where Model Y is produced.

After the transformer near the automobile factory in Berlin was arsoned and exploded, production stopped and a power outage occurred in the region.

In recent weeks, about 80 activists from the "Stop Tesla" initiative had protested the expansion plan that would destroy the forest area near the Tesla factory.

Activists, who argued that the forest area next to the factory was occupied by Tesla, supported the residents of the Grünheide region against Tesla's factory expansion plan and asked for the protection of drinking water areas in the region.

Elon Musk will visit Tesla's factory in Germany after an arson attack on a nearby lamppost left the facility without power and production halted.

According to the news based on company sources; Musk will go directly from Berlin airport to the facility in Gruenheide on Wednesday.

The factory that produces Model Y for European markets restarted production on Monday after a week-long interruption due to arson.

Elon Musk said in his post on X last week: "These are either the stupidest eco-terrorists in the world, or they are puppets of those who do not have good environmental goals.

"Stopping the production of electric vehicles instead of fossil fuel vehicles is extremely stupid."

Germany's federal prosecutor's office said in a statement on Friday that it had taken over the investigation into the arson attack and was investigating accusations of terrorism and "unconstitutional sabotage".
