Stellantis Will Distribute 1.9 Billion Euros to Its Employees

Stellantis, which implemented the performance-based bonus system 3 years ago, announced that it will distribute 1.9 billion euros to its employees this year.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the PSA group reached an agreement to merge in a 50-50 partnership in 2020, and the merger took place under the Stellantis brand in January 2021.

With the new brand focusing on electric car production, the number of employees in its factories decreased significantly.

Offering exit packages for 6,400 volunteer employees, Stellantis also parted ways with 33,500 employees in the USA and laid off many employees in Europe.

Stellantis, which implemented the performance-based bonus system 3 years ago, will distribute 1.9 billion euros to its employees this year.

Last year, almost all employees of the company (95%) were entitled to benefit from these bonuses.

The company currently has more than 200 thousand employees. It is aimed to distribute premiums of around 9500 euros on average per employee.
