Mazda Stopped Its Sales in Turkey

Japanese automobile giant Mazda announced that they have completely withdrawn from Turkey.

Mazda, which has wanted to market its lower volume models in Turkey for a while due to taxation based on engine volume, but could not reach an agreement with the headquarters, announced that they withdrew from Turkey due to very low sales.

In addition to this problem, it is said that the e-Call problem with the Japanese headquarters also had an impact on this withdrawal decision. In the statement made by Mazda Turkey General Manager Nurdan Yurdakul, "Mazda Motor Turkey has decided to suspend the Mazda sales network in Turkey for an indefinite period. After-sales services and spare parts supply will continue in order to ensure the continuation of service to existing Mazda customers in Turkey." It was said.

Even though its sales have stopped, spare parts and service will continue until 2033.
