Hyundai Ioniq 7 Will Be Introduced in June

Hyundai will debut the third model in its electric model range, Ioniq 7, at the Busan Auto Show to be held on June 28.

The pre-production prototype of the upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 7 was previously caught on camera testing on public roads in Germany.

The electric SUV, which will share most of its underpinnings with the recently introduced Kia EV9, will come as the third car in the brand's futuristic electric car series.

The Ioniq 7 will sit above the Ioniq 5 crossover and Ioniq 6 coupé to become a long-term rival to the Volvo EX90.

Very few details are known about the new electric car. However, we may encounter many details from the company's Seven Concept, introduced in 2021.

Ioniq 7, which is expected to be approximately 5 meters long, will be Hyundai's flagship model.

We can say that if the details we see in the Seven Concept are carried over to the production vehicle, the design language we see in the Ioniq 5 will be used.

Features taken from the concept will probably include a large rear window, headlight details and side mirrors.

Considering that the Hyundai Ioniq 7 and Kia EV9 are both based on the Hyundai-Kia E-GMP platform, both are likely to share the same powertrain setup.

Kia EV9 is powered by a 99.8 kWh battery that offers a range of 540 km. There is also an entry-level model with a 76.1kWh battery in other markets.

Although exact details have not been announced yet, Ioniq 7 is expected to be launched with various power options and long range values.
