Chinese Leapmotor started producing electric vehicles in Europe

It was reported that Chinese Leapmotor started producing electric vehicles at Stellantis' factory in Poland.

Leapmotor, an electric car company based in Hangzhou, has nearly 30 years of experience in electronics and artificial intelligence technologies.

Leapmotor produces the all-electric SUV C11, sedan C01, 5-door city car T03 and coupe S01.

The company recently started to offer the 5-door city car T03 model for sale in Turkey.

Stellantis, which includes many major brands such as Fiat, Peugeot, Opel, Citroen, purchased 20 percent of the shares of the Chinese electric vehicle brand Leapmotor for 1.5 billion euros last year.

Strengthening its position even further thanks to the acquisition, the Chinese company started producing electric vehicles in Stellantis' factory in Poland.

Stellantis will begin selling the Leapmotor in nine European markets, including Germany, France, Italy and Spain, in September.

The Tychy facility in Poland, which will also undertake the production of the T03 model on sale in our country, will allow the model to enter Europe quickly.

The facility is located in the southern region of Poland; It produces models such as Fiat 500, Fiat 600 and Jeep Avenger.

In addition, the Milano model, which Alfa Romeo will introduce next month, will be produced at the facility.
