BMW introduced the renewed version of the 1 Series in the compact segment.
The new 1 Series, which will be produced in Leipzig, Germany, appears with a simpler and sportier design.
The vehicle has grown in size and has a length of 4,361 mm, a width of 1,800 mm and a height of 1,459 mm.
The model will be offered in four different versions: 118d, 120d, 120 and M135 xDrive. All models have a 7-speed Streponic transmission.
The most powerful model, the M135 xDrive, is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 296 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.
The interior of the car, which goes from 0 to 100 in 4.9 seconds, draws attention with its 10.7-inch infotainment screen and recycled polyester seats.
Sales of the new 1 Series in Europe will start in October and prices will be around £ 29,950 in the UK.
