Dacia has started testing its largest car to date, the Bigster model, which it plans to launch next year.

Dacia, which is preparing to launch the renewed Duster model in the second quarter of 2024, will introduce another SUV model, Bigster, towards the end of the year and put it on sale next year.

The third generation Duster and Bigster will be built on the Renault-Nissan CMF-B architecture.

The Bigster will compete with mainstream compact SUV models in Europe's largest segment when it launches in the second quarter of 2025.

The model, which will be the flagship of the brand; It will compete with famous models such as Toyota RAV4, Ford Kuga and Honda CR-V.

Duster and Bigster SUV models will be produced at the company's main factory in Romania. The facility in question currently has the capacity to produce 1,200 cars per day.

Dacia has started testing the large SUV model it plans to launch next year.

New images of the camouflaged Bigster being tested on public roads show that the design of the production car remains largely the same as the concept introduced in 2021.

Dacia Bigster, which will be produced on the same CMF platform as Renault Austral and Nissan X-Trail, offers some clues about engine options.

This common platform creates certain expectations regarding the engine options of the Bigster model.

In particular, 158 horsepower 1.3-liter mild hybrid and 200 horsepower 1.2-liter full hybrid engines are among the possible options for the Bigster.

The LPG engine option, which is popular among Dacia's customer base, is also expected to be offered in the Bigster model.

Although there is no clear information about the price of Bigster yet, it is estimated that the price of Bigster may be around 30 thousand euros, based on Duster's price of around 20 thousand euros in Europe.
