The Alpine A110 R Ultime, unveiled on Monday at the Paris Motor Show, is the most powerful A110 model ever produced. Limited to just 110 units, this high-performance vehicle features a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 257 kW at 6,000 rpm and 420 Nm of torque at 3,200 rpm—80 Nm more than the standard A110 R Turini.
The engine breathes through an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, with power transferred to the rear axle via a new DW6 gearbox, which has been enhanced to handle the increased torque. With launch control activated, the A110 R Ultime accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Precision Engineering and Enhanced Performance
The A110 R Ultime features a range of chassis upgrades, including Ohlins adjustable dampers, a special braking system with 330 mm AP Racing dual-material discs, high-performance brake pads, and new cooling channels. A set of staggered forged alloy wheels (18-inch front, 19-inch rear) are wrapped in sticky Michelin PS2 Cup tires, designed to enhance mechanical grip. Additionally, Alpine's aerodynamic engineers have increased the car’s downforce, adding an extra 160 kg at maximum speed (Vmax).
Customization Options: Atelier and Atelier Sur-Mesure
According to Alpine, the A110 R Ultime is available with two customization packages: Atelier and Atelier Sur-Mesure. Opting for the Atelier package allows customers to choose from 27 exterior colors and Alcantara upholstery in gray, red, blue, or orange. Sabelt seats come as standard. For those looking to further personalize their vehicle, the Atelier Sur-Mesure package unlocks nine additional Alcantara colors and, for the first time, 10 leather color options. Customers can also apply custom colors to exterior body components such as the carbon fiber hood, upper air intakes, rear window, wing, spoiler, and aerodynamic elements, creating a truly bespoke A110.
Exclusive "La Bleue" Edition: A Rare and Luxurious Creation
The special "La Bleue" configuration, limited to just 15 units, features a unique paint finish that blends Alpine Vision Blue and Abysse Blue. This stunning color scheme carries into the cabin, where blue leather upholstery covers the Sabelt seats.
However, this exclusivity comes at a price—Alpine has set the price tag at €330,000 ($6.35 million R). The standard A110 R Ultime starts at €265,000 ($5.09 million R), making it one of the most expensive four-cylinder cars ever produced.
